Standard

You chain defined movements in a dancing like fashion to a given music. Typically, there is an underlying cadence, counting from 1 to 8 and often the respective movement or figure is announced. So you always know what follows and to which rhythm. Especially when you perform the choreographies with others, this can help synchronize your movements.

Duans

If you know karate, then katas, the exercise forms and stylized fights, probably mean something to you. In BailongBall, of course, you do not fight, but rather perform certain exercises with ball and racket that follow a standardized choreography. Of course, as is typical for BailongBall, round, full-body movements with racket and ball are are at the heart of these choreographies.
